Questions farmers ask
Do I need a smartphone?
Yes, a basic smartphone with a data connection. You can use the web app or WhatsApp, whichever you prefer.
Which languages does it speak?
The interface and the AI advisor work in multiple Indian languages. Tell it your language and it will answer in it.
Will it tell me which pesticide brand and dose to use?
No. It explains the likely problem and the type of action to take, then asks you to confirm products and doses with your local extension officer or agri-input adviser. We believe that is the safe thing to do.
What if the photo is unclear?
It will say so and ask for a better photo rather than guess.
How do I get access?
Access is arranged through your producer organisation or the institution deploying ai krishi in your area. Ask them, or write to us.
