What we collect, why, who sees it, and the control you have over it.
Who is responsible for your data
Twor Consulting Engineers Private Limited (the Company) operates ai krishi. For individual users and our website, the Company decides how personal data is used. When an institution deploys ai krishi for its own programmes, the institution decides the purposes and the Company acts as its processor, under the institution’s agreement.
What we collect
- Account data: name, contact details, role, organisation, language and area of operation.
- Farm data: field boundaries, location, crops, sowing and harvest dates, and satellite-derived crop-health readings for your fields.
- Content you provide: questions and messages to the AI advisor, crop photos, land-record documents and uploaded reports.
- Usage and device data: pages and features used, timestamps, approximate device and browser information, and error logs.
- Communications you send us, such as briefing requests.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: alerts, advice, diagnosis, dashboards and reports.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent misuse and fix faults.
- To improve accuracy and usability, using aggregated or de-identified data wherever possible.
- To respond to you and to meet legal obligations.
Basis for processing
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, to deliver the Service you asked for, to meet legal obligations, and for legitimate operational and security purposes, as permitted by applicable data protection law. You can withdraw consent where processing rests on it.
AI and third-party processing
Some features send the content of a request, such as a question, a photo or extracted document text, to a third-party AI model provider for processing, and use external providers for weather, satellite imagery and market data. For location services we share place and date information, not your identity. In institutional deployments, providers and regions are agreed with the institution. We do not permit providers to use your content to advertise to you.
Who sees your data
- You, and anyone you authorise.
- Officers and organisations whose role and jurisdiction cover you, to the extent needed for their programme, as set out in the deploying institution’s arrangements.
- Service providers who process data for us under confidentiality and security obligations.
- Authorities where the law requires, and a successor if the business is transferred, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal data.
Aggregated and de-identified insights
We may produce statistics and insights that do not identify you, such as district-level crop-health trends, and use them for planning, research and to improve the Service.
Retention
We keep personal data while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above or the law. Institutional agreements may set specific periods. After that we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use access controls, role and jurisdiction scoping and encrypted connections, and require explicit confirmation before extracted record data is saved. No system is perfectly secure, so we also plan for incident response. See our security page.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw consent. Write to contact@aikrishi.in. If you are dissatisfied, you may complain to the competent data protection authority.
Children
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Cross-border processing
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where this happens we require appropriate safeguards and, for institutional deployments, follow the institution’s data-location requirements.
